当被问及不稳定的上场时间是否影响了他的自信心，邓恩表示：“没有，因为我在自己的比赛表现方面付出了很多努力。所以我相信自己，而且我清楚在这支球队里我的职责是什么。我不是那种会想着‘好吧，让我去给教练证明点什么，好得到更多上场时间’的人。不是这样的，不管我能获得多少上场时间，我都只是尽我所能做好我该做的事。”
