5月22日讯 据俄亥俄州地方电视台NBC4i记者Katie Millard和Orri Benatar联合报道，俄亥俄州立大学计划授予勒布朗-詹姆斯荣誉博士学位。

该校董事会将召开会议就包括是否授予这位NBA巨星公共事务荣誉博士学位在内的数十项决议进行表决。

根据俄亥俄州立大学评议会规定，荣誉学位仅授予“在专业领域贡献远超预期标准”的卓越人士，詹姆斯是该校本年度唯一提名的荣誉学位候选人，在此前星光熠熠的授勋名单中，职业运动员屈指可数，这使得詹姆斯的提名尤为瞩目。若获批，他将与奥巴马、福特、小布什、老布什等多位前总统共同跻身杰出授勋者行列。
